Overview

ThermaWave, a new company specializing in high-quality heating components, aims to enter the consumer market with efficient and user-friendly heat pumps. Homeowners often struggle with choosing the right heat pump due to a lack of information about their specific heating needs.

Solution

As a UX designer, I created a website for ThermaWave featuring a heat pump demand calculator to recommend models based on home parameters. The site will also offer product descriptions, installation guides, and a contact form for additional support.

Research

Surveys and interviews gathered demographic and knowledge data on potential heat pump customers, leading to the creation of empathy maps and user personas to inform the design of an intuitive heat pump calculator.

Using the user stories, I designed and refined the user flows to ensure the heat pump calculator provides a seamless experience, with results tailored to each persona's knowledge level.

I created low-fidelity wireframes to outline the core structure and user interactions, allowing for quick feedback and adjustments.

Final Designs

These high-fidelity designs provided a clear, intuitive interface, ensuring that users of all knowledge levels could easily navigate the calculator, access relevant information, and make informed decisions.
