Puma - Maciej Miłanowski Design

Where Athletes Shape the Future of Footwear.

Overview

PUMA wanted a platform where professional athletes could evaluate their footwear at different stages—right out of the box, during use, and after extended performance testing. They approached me to design a responsive, user-friendly solution that would guide athletes through these phases of review. The goal was to make the process straightforward, allowing athletes to provide detailed feedback at every stage, from initial impressions to final evaluations.

Positive Feedback on Platform

Nearly all users found the interface intuitive and easy to navigate, enhancing overall engagement.

Approach

I started by interviewing professional athletes to understand their needs when reviewing footwear and analyzing competitor platforms. This research helped shape my initial design ideas, which I refined during a collaborative workshop with the PUMA team.

My focus was on building an intuitive, streamlined interface that makes it easy for athletes to submit detailed reviews. After designing the core elements, I conducted user testing to gather feedback, which guided the final adjustments. The result is a user-friendly platform that enhances the review process, aligning with PUMA’s goals.

Mobile Friendly

A huge portion of visitors were coming from mobile devices, so the site needed to be fully accessible regardless of the device.

Review Management

A dedicated, user-friendly interface was created to allow PUMA employees to efficiently manage and compare footwear ratings, making it easier to analyze and act on athlete feedback.
